Alice Ann Barnum

ST. GEORGE, UTAH - Alice Ann Barnum having been born of goodly parents was reunited with them on April 14, 2012. Alice was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 23, 1942 to Roger and Ruth Osness. Alice was the oldest of six children. She was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she met and married Daniel Barnum of Las Vegas, Nevada on April 1, 1960. Together they had seven children.

Alice was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her favorite callings were always in the Primary, where she loved the little children.

Alice is survived by her children: Michael Barnum (Blanche) of Hurricane, Utah, Daniel Barnum (Pam) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Deborah Barnum (Adrian) of Las Vegas, Nevada, David Barnum (Dena) of St. George, Utah, Darwin Barnum (Sheila) of Overland Park, Kansas, Darrin Barnum (Debbie) St. George, Utah, and Darlene Rush (Stuart) of Las Vegas, Nevada; 32 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings: Carol Hirschi (Marllo), Virginia Szentimrey, Steven Osness, and Mark Osness (Amy); and many neices, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Roger Osness, Jr.

Our family wishes a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mel Carter and Kolob Care and Rehabilitation for their thoughtful care and service on Alice’s behalf.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine View Mortuary, 566 North Mall Drive, St. George, Utah. Visitation will take place Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Pine View Mortuary. Interment will follow services at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Pine View Mortuary, 435-986-4222.
