Beverly Dawn Pollock

ST. GEORGE, UTAH - Beverly Dawn Pollock, 86, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2013. She was born on December 7, 1926 in Kanarraville, Utah to Wells and Ethna Williams. She married Garth Pollock on June 14, 1947 in the St. George LDS Temple.

She was raised in Kanarraville with her eight brothers and sisters. She loved spending her summers homesteading Horse Ranch Mountain. She loved the Kolob Canyons and visited them often. Beverly was raised and went to school in Kanarra until she went to high school. She graduated from Cedar High and attended one year of college in Cedar City where she took business courses. Beverly was an active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions.

Beverly has lived in Kanarra, Cedar City and St. George, Utah all of her life, always returning to live in Kanarra for the summer.

She is survived by two of her children, Gregory Garth (Irene) Pollock of Washington, Utah and Paula Jean Rasmussen (John) of Sandy, Utah; three grandsons, Jason, Brant and Kevin and two granddaughters, Nicole and Jessica Jean; 11 Great-grandchildren; one sister, Lauralie Williams of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Verde Williams of Layton, Utah and David Williams of Minot, North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Garth Pollock and one son, Mark Wells Pollock, two sisters, Barbara Williams and Rose Marie Durrant, three brothers, V. Rand Williams, Rowan Williams and Gary Williams.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 11:00 a.m to 11:45 a.m at Pine View Mortuary, 566 North Mall Drive, St. George, Utah. Graveside services will be held at the Kanarraville Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., under the direction of Pine View Mortuary.
